I have, for a while now, been a member of the Icon Buffet online community. A site that combines social networking with the sharing of graphical icons in a way that makes playing the Icon Buffet game incredibly addictive.

My interest in Icon Buffet has grown over the past 2 months and I’ve now become a VIP member to help make the most of the free graphics available. As well as getting involved in the community I’ve started building a number of IB WordPress plugins.

Due to the way the site works there’s a large amount of pressure on the icon creators (the chefs) to keep up with demand and recently new icon sets have been slow to appear. This means that a large number of VIP members a finding themselves with no sets left to collect. This, in turn, is leading to these members downgrading and losing their VIP memberships.

In order to support these members and show that the newbies (myself included) still need them to frequent the IB, I’ve created these 2 doctored VIP badges for them to use as part of their avatars. Download the images above (right-click and save as) or click here to download a PNG.
